Summer Garden

Photos of me taken by my mum mid-December last year in our garden. My silk dress is Victoria's Secret that I got for $4 from a charity shop and dyed (it was originally a light blue). Sorry it's a bit crinkly, but ironing is weird...

Also, Happy Sort-of-New Year!

The light, the colours, the vividness of all those greens (I've kind of forgotten about leaves on deciduous trees). And what a dress. Looks like you should be striding along a red carpet in it, though I rather prefer that you are stepping along the green carpet of your garden.

I love that you got that dress for $4 and that it's wrinkly. Yes, ironing IS a weird thing. Thank you for this blast of greenery. It makes the rain bearable.

i love the ethereal-ness (that is SO not the right suffix) of these images. Beautiful dress and your garden looks magnificent :D

I see so much cross-influence from you and Roz, I love it! Two sweet, elegant elves in the woods and fields.

(I never iron anything either :). I have heard you can leave things hanging in the bathroom while you shower and the steam will do the ironing for you, but I am even too lazy to try that.)

Happy New Year, and I look forward to following what you've been up to this year!

Oh woah your blog is fab! Love these photographs, the light is just lovely and what a brilliant dress (I think all the best dresses are a bit crinkly- who has time for ironing!)
